Suffering through blitz matches at Planets.nu makes you wish there was a commonly-agreed-upon set of guidelines which encourages players to be honourable and polite.
Last month we hinted at a followup to our exclusive first interview with Joshua. Today, we can finally announce that the rumor is true: We’ve got solid answers on some of the most pressing questions of the day.

Blitz Games can be played vs. one live opponent or an artificial intelligence called ‘Hiatus’. Due to their relatively short game length, Blitz Games are the only format that is used for tournaments. While alliances and cooperation are extremely important in the larger game formats the Blitz Game version mainly focuses in military strength and strategic abilities. Furthermore it is an ideal set-up for tactical training or sandbox tests.

After much deliberation, it has been decided that Blitz Tournament 0029: Breakthru the 4th Dimension will start on October 7, regardless of the number of players participating in the tournament. Five months is long enough, and I will use this tournament as a reminder to reduce the size back to 16 in future tournaments until the popularity actually warrants an increase.
